The threaded connection is mainly used in production or domestic water, heating facilities pipelines, the pump’s cooling water pipeline, or the pressure gauge and control valve lead line connection.

This connection requires a variety of accessories, such as unions, tees, pipe clamps, plugs, etc. Threaded connection is easy to disassemble and assemble, but the construction is troublesome, and the joints are prone to leakage.

Socket connections are mainly suitable for connecting cast iron pipes, ceramic pipes, concrete pipes, and plastic pipes.

For pipelines with electrostatic grounding requirements, the resistance value between each connection joint and the resistance value of the pipeline system to the ground shall be measured.

If the resistance value exceeds 0.03Ω, a jumper wire and a grounding lead shall be installed. For stainless steel and titanium pipelines, the jumper wire and the grounding lead shall not be directly connected to the titanium pipeline, and the titanium plates and stainless steel plates shall be used for transition.
